Meet Suzie
I used to be a music and lifestyle photographer. Then I photographed my first wedding in 2019 and got totally hooked. I’m all about natural, authentic storytelling photography for couples who want real photos to reflect their day. I love a documentary style (capturing unposed, real moments of joy from your wedding) but love a fun portrait and group shot too. Capturing genuine moments of emotion and love is my thing and I feel very lucky to do what I do. It really is the best job!
I’m Suzie and I’m a relaxed wedding photographer based in Bristol, UK. I’m a born and raised Londoner and I’m always zig-zagging around the country photographing weddings. No destination is too far - my furthest away wedding so far is Vietnam!
A bit more about me
I’m a total camera nerd.
Like really. I have 15 cameras at last count, including medium format twin lens cameras, a pocket-sized 80s film camera and an old Agfa camera with bellows on the front. I basically can’t walk past the window of a camera shop at this point. It’s a problem.
I love music festivals
Dancing in a field covered in glitter is the best and nobody can convince me otherwise.
If I’m not at my desk editing, I’m probably at the climbing wall
It’s a skill that comes in handy if you want a picture of all your wedding guests - I’ve scaled walls to get the shot before!
Margaritas are my favourite
The drink, the pizza, it’s all good.
I love to travel
I spent 6 months living in Taiwan and 3 years living in Vietnam. Check out some of my travel photos taken on film cameras!
I’m a cat lady
I thought two cats was a good idea so they could keep each other company but it’s actually pure chaos.
Seeing a Rover Mini on the road absolutely makes my day
It’s my dream car and I would definitely own one if they weren’t massively impractical.
I’m camera shy
I much prefer to be behind the camera than in front of it!
