Authentic wedding photography packages in Somerset and Bristol

Booking a wedding photographer is an investment. How often do you get to have all your favourite people in one place?! The images from the day will last forever in your albums, wall prints and in the hands of your loved ones too.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I capture natural memories that will last a lifetime. In trusting me to document your wedding, you also get someone with 8 years’ experience in the wedding industry, who has photographed over 100 weddings. Someone who knows how to pin a buttonhole, who knows how to lace up a dress, who can be a taxi driver at no notice. Someone who will be there to document the quiet moments of preparation all the way through to the chaotic tequila shots in the evening.

All photography packages include a pre-wedding consultation, fully edited high-resolution images, a customised online gallery with unlimited downloads and sharing rights and 10-15 preview photos within the week after your wedding.

I also offer micro wedding packages for smaller, more intimate weddings requiring shorter coverage, with package times starting from 1.5 hours.

My approach

Having photographed over 100 weddings, I know that what really matters is being present and enjoying your wedding day with the people you love.

My natural, documentary style approach allows you to relax and enjoy your day - I’ll be there to capture all of the hugs, the tears and the laughs that make your day so memorable.

When it comes to couple photos, my ethos is the same - I’ll give you gentle prompts and guidance to get some natural, relaxed and cheese-free portraits so you can focus on celebrating.

“Suzie blended in well and got loads of cracking candid photos, as well as directing us to get portraits that we’ll treasure forever. Suzie is really lovely, super on the ball, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We are eternally grateful to her for capturing our wedding day so beautifully.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Head over to my contact page and send me the lowdown on your wedding plans. Then we’ll have a zoom chat or meet in person to chat about your plans and get to know each other better.

I ask for a 25% deposit and a signed contract to lock in your date.

  • I am very fortunate to have an expert videographer (Lewis) on my team. He has many years of experience filming for the BBC, is a licensed drone pilot and a fantastic wedding filmmaker. If you book wedding videography alongside photography, you get both of us there on the day and your bespoke wedding film edited by Lewis afterwards.

  • From a full day I usually deliver at least 500 fully edited photos, which can increase if you have a second photographer capturing an alternate angle on your day too.

  • Having two photographers is great if you want to maximise the number of candid photos of your guests having fun, because they are free to take candid photos while I am doing other parts of the job, like taking group photos or couple portraits. Second shooters also give you two angles on your ceremony and the opportunity to get morning preparation photos from both of you.

I have a fantastic team of photographers and a videographer that I work with. I edit all the photos after the wedding (whether I or the second photographer took them) so you get my custom photo edit on all the photos and consistency through your whole gallery.

To add a second photographer to your package, just let me know and I’ll get it all sorted.

It’s also possible to hire a second videographer if you’d like to maximise your wedding coverage - get in touch for a custom quote.

  • Sorting through and editing a full set of wedding photos is no small job, especially during the busy summer season. I hand edit each photo with my own custom edit so getting the full gallery back will take up to 8 weeks, although it can be quicker during quieter times of year.

I’ll also get you a preview of your photos within a week of the wedding so you can share them with your loved ones!

  • I love a good adventure so no wedding is too far away!

I’m mostly based in Bristol but I work a lot in London too. Travel is included within England and Wales, anything outside of that may have a small travel fee, depending on the location.

So, short answer, yes! I will definitely travel to your wedding.

  • Yes, I have public liability and indemnity insurance. If a venue asks you for the details then send them my way and I’ll forward them the documents.
