Fun, alternative, colourful winter wedding at Patterns Brighton
Hi everyone!
As a documentary wedding photographer who loves dance floor and party photos, Patterns Brighton has been a bucket list venue of mine for a while now. So when Edd and Tasha got in touch to enquire with me about their amazing December wedding they were planning, I really had to remind myself to chill because I knew that it was going to be the coolest wedding everrr.
Anyway long story short it was excellent. Of course it was. How could a wedding of two such great people be anything else?!
The pair started their wedding festivities with a wonderful ceremony at Brighton Town Hall, followed by a walk into The Lanes for some photos. It was getting dark by the time we left the Town Hall - that’ll happen in December - so we took full advantage of all the amazing fairy lights in The Lanes. The lights from a very generously-lit off-licence came in handy too! Then we walked along the beachfront and got some photos in front of Brighton Pier, which was also beautifully lit up with fairy lights. From there it was a quick walk over the road to Patterns, where all of Edd and Tasha’s friends were waiting to celebrate with them.
And what a celebration it was! If you are planning on getting married and looking for a fun, alternative venue that you can really inject your personality into, I would really consider Patterns. Edd and Tasha’s reception was so much fun. The space was beautifully decorated by Luna and the Lane and had soo many fun activities. There was beer pong, flip cup, a photo booth area and an amazing grazing spread for guests. Oh, and Edd and Tasha had their own beer made as favours for the guests too!
