Dan and Michelle’s Rustic Bredenbury Court Barns Wedding
Michelle and Dan got married at the gorgeous Bredenbury Court Barns in March. Even a bit of rain couldn’t stop the fun vibe of their day, which had a relaxed and rustic styling.
Getting ready at Bredenbury Court Barns
The preparation room at Bredenbury Court Barns is a great place to get ready. With tons of natural light coming in through the big windows, and lots of mirrors, it’s the ideal place for a wedding party to get ready in the morning. Michelle and her bridesmaids got ready in the suite, with good tunes and Prosecco bringing the fun morning vibes. Michelle had lots of details with her for a wedding morning fla lay - these are always my favourite to photograph! She had an invite with some flowers to use as styling, along with a Welsh wedding spoon carved by Dan.
Relaxed ceremony in The Orangery
One of my favourite things about weddings at Bredenbury Court Barns is how nice the indoor ceremony space is. With skylights and huge windows, ceremonies at Bredenbury Court Barns are an absolute dream to photograph. Michelle and Dan decorated The Orangery with sage green sashes on the chairs, matching the bridesmaids dresses and had a gorgeous heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony, Michelle and Dan walked back down the aisle to confetti being thrown by their guests. Up next we did the group photos - these don’t need to be stuffy or take ages - we used the lovely indoor space of the orangery again to keep everyone dry.
Rainy couple portraits at Bredenbury Court Barns
Sometimes the English weather lets you down and this was one of those days where the rain just wouldn’t stop. But did it dampen our spirits? Absolutely not! I keep some clear umbrellas in the boot of my car for emergency rain situations so I just grabbed these from the car park and we were good to go! Photos in the rain are actually such a vibe and Dan and Michelle looked amazing (and stayed dry!) in these rainy photos. My cameras are water resistant and I generally don’t mind getting a bit rained on but a big shout out to the best man for coming out to hold an umbrella over me as well!
Rustic and elegant decorations at Bredenbury Court Barns
Another great thing about Bredenbury Court Barns is the reception space. A gorgeous rustic room with fairy lights and huge windows, it is a blank canvas for couples to decorate. Michelle and Dan had the space decorated in rustic green and white colours, with a gorgeous ceiling streamer making the space look incredible. It was a wonderful backdrop for the meal and speeches.
Fun evening party at Bredenbury Court Barns
After the speeches it was time for music and dancing! The evening party was so much fun, with dancing, a phone box and sparklers. Dan and Michelle wanted to have a relaxed and fun evening celebration and they definitely achieved that.
Dan and Michelle’s wedding was such a fun day and I loved photographing at Bredenbury Court Barns! If you're planning a wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns and are looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch and let’s chat!
